The device simply uses the OEM screen as a video monitor. The Nav-TV device does not utlilize any touch inputs from the monitor inside the OEM navigation unit. Please keep in mind this product was developed before the first iPhone. Think about that for a minute.

This was back in the day when people were still mounting ITX mobo's and PSU's in their center consoles, and fabbing Liliput screens for carputers.
So no. No touch screen. Not even a rainbow colored lane line overlay for the reverse camera. Just pure dumb video, via two inputs, with a switcher between the three modes... OEM display, Video 1, Video 2. That's it.
