I'm assuming you have a RANGE Device?

I never use the onstar stuff on my 2017, so I haven't ever come across this. Interesting though

I have the Range device and Onstar diagnostics and have not seen this. How new or old is your Range device, it may need to be updated by Range. Does the Onstar run properly if you remove the Range?

Yes if I remove the device and do a diag all is well. No clue how old the device is.

I was getting that message as well, sent it back to Range for a diagnostic check and has been fine for the last couple of months. Return was on their dime.
