I am working on getting it going, and trying to get a kit for just the e-fans if that's something people would be interested in.

You're talking to people who waste too much money on these beautiful vehicles, of course we want them.

I know you're "scouting" or putting out feelers or whatever, but seriously if you have the technical/mechanical aptitude to build this thing, I have a hard time believing that you cannot give an estimate based on what was required for the build. Like you said, this isn't in production and you aren't selling anything so give us an estimate on what you think this would cost after production.

Get:
-Price estimate
-Dyno?
-E-fan, cfm more than 5000 ('05 e-fans) or 5500 (aftermarket)?
-Shipping?, weigh it

Definitely go with the "kit" options, the mix and match

So I'm going to to my best to answer this question, let me give you a recap of how this went and hopefully it makes since. The company I work for doesn't make a direct fit for the tahoe, so I asked them if I could design one and my friend and I designed it so my company didn't create this at all they just donated the parts to our specs. And yes I'm throwing this out for a feeler to help back us up to take to the boss and say there are a lot of people besides me who would want it, you know.

So as far as an estimate goes don't quote me but the cost of parts added up you would be right at the $1000 mark. But as the saying goes you get what you pay for. I've had it running for about 4 months and I have loved it.

I don't have a dyno so I don't have hard numbers to give you (I wish I did) to show you a gain on paper, but I can tell you it made a noticeable difference when the clutch fan came off and the engine was running 25deg cooler. But average hp gain with e-fans is 25 at the motor. MPG went up a few for me as well.

The fan is dual 16" S-Blade that we make as well, it pulls 3300-6000 CFM based on need. You can read in older posts as to how its controlled and works (If you haven't already)

The radiator weighs roughly 20lbs, and the fan is about 5lbs. So shipping weight I don't know specifically, sorry.

And since I designed it I should have a say in how its marketed since I know what the people of the board would want.

I hope I answered your questions, and I know that keeping most of the info from you guys in not what I want to do. I want to tell you everything possible on it. But as business and rights go, I cannot.

Well, currently it is on my 04' Tahoe. But I've been getting a look at other vehicles and with how GM build its vehicles the front clips are the same, so with that said I'm going to say it will work in the 00-06 Tahoe, Suburban, Avalanche, Silverado(all), and Yukons, just in the current setup I have. I will be looking into all of the listed models in 91-99 and 07+ if the radiators are all the same it may need to be tweaked slightly but that's my goal. The only reason its in the 00-06 range for the time being is that's what my Tahoe is being the test vehicle.

OBS is the like pre 1999 guys, you answered his question without knowing it haha

Yeah dude that answered my question about as much as I think you could. Sounds worth it, those Be Cool aluminum ones are like $850+.

Just business-wise, I think what would convince a company owner/investor would be to create a production model for the NNBS ('07+) because that would be a bigger and more sustainable market in the long run
