Hi Everyone,

I have a 2004 Tahoe with the UQ3 Audio system (No Bose, No Onstar). I installed a new radio, and only have sound from the 4 speakers in the front, no sound coming from the second row. The rear speakers do have sound when the factory radio is plugged in. I've researched, this for hours and I can't seem to find any conclusive fix for my issue. I will list everything I've tried/researched into so far.

1. Looked for factory amp in locations behind the dash, behind the glove box, still need to check under center console and driver seat (but I don't think this system has an amp.)
2. Researched the pink amp turn on cable, but my factory harness doesn't have any pink cable in it.
3. Researched about a second plug behind the dash that has a blue/white or pink wire to turn on the amp. Unable to locate another plug and my OEM radio only has 1 plug, and the antenna wire.

I'm not sure what else there is to do. Most people talk about the Bose system, but I can't seem to find anything on the non-amplified, non on-star system I have. I will list equipment I'm using below.

Radio: https://shorturl.at/qdhfy (Atoto S8G2A74MS)
Radio interface harness: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N4WKA7K?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1 (GM Class II)
Amp: https://shorturl.at/xymSr (Kicker 47KEY2004)

Wiring is as follows.

Atoto Harness -> (color matched) loose cables on Crux Module -> Crux 8 pin plugged into NON Amplified port -> Crux harness into OEM Harness behind the dash.

I appreciate your help and time and I'll continue working on it while waiting for replies here. I am going to try connecting the "Amp turn on" from the Atoto, to the "Amp Turn on" on the Crux module, but from what I saw, the pin for that on the crux side plugs into nothing on the OEM harness side.

The CRUX module you list is for Bose. (see the ad that your link shows)

Crutchfield notes that the CRUX CS-GMC2 -- among others -- is the right one for non-Bose, non-OnStar installs.

I was wondering if it could've been that too, but it says non-amplified so i thought it worked for this. Are there Bose systems that don't have amplifiers?

Crutchfield helped me out and i feel so dumb lol. The interface box was fine, but the Kicker amp i was using had the amp 2 (rear speaker) gain set at 0 so no sound was coming out. It's all good now! Thanks everyone.
