My stock head unit just took a dump, and I've been quoted at $1600 for a reman swap... kinda makes this unit somewhat worth it...
So far any issues? Gripes? Cons?
Are you able to plug in an external hard drive (for example a 3 TB WD Passport) and play movies from said hard drive??

I was able to use a 64gb flash drive with movies on it - yes.

These are nice. Someone somewhat near me is selling his. He wants 1000, my stock navi unit, and my bezel for his. Id rather just spend 1k on a top of the line pioneer and have it be brand new. And still have my stock radio and bezel.

Id just keep an eye out. There may be another crazy person like me that sells the complete unit for $1200 after a couple months of use.
