I have 2 RF amps (T1500 & T600) and have a whine also. I've done everything to try to get rid of it but to no avail I can't. I wish I had some other amps to try to see if I could be as lucky as you so that it would go away. I'd also like to know about soldering the joints.

Ive done it all also. Finally just switched to jl and all is gone and quiet now. So after talking w/ a few audio guys i do know, they all say must be the amp somehow, or as blueflame says, the solder joints bad. (meaning, the solder is not good, small cracks in it, or something along those lines, basically not a good connection all the way.

Do you have speaker wires running near power wires?

Nope, seperate, running w/ rcas.

solder joints in the amp or RCA's...bad, equals noise :)

Ok, thanks man. Guess im going to just sell this amp, works fine, just maybe my new radio is too sensitive and is picking up the noise, b/c w/ the factory there wasnt any noise.

cool Mike, it may be a simple, or not so simple fix...never know until you run and test it and have a tech go through it, so basiclaly more than buying another almost :)

I figured if i must know i can do that, but to me amps are a dime a dozen. It works just not for my application, so off to sell it i will. Less hasel and regroup some money for the radio fund i used.
