I just pulled both fuse #31 and #33 from under my hood. One was labeled DRL and the other DRL(2).
1) Why are there two fuses?
2) Will my lights still automatically turn on at night?

Great! This is EXACTLY what I wanted to accomplish! The reason I don't want them running during the day is because I'd like my HID's to last longer and I think it looks like $hit with them running during the day. What I would like to know is if there is any way to have the front turn signals act as daytime running lights? anyone have any ideas?

How do they effect your HID's?

Only had to pull one fuse in my 08' Tahoe. Think it was a 10amp.

Just put an amber bulb in your DRL's. I dont understand what you're talking about when you say you want to make your HID's last longer by not running your DRL's?

Unless I'm mistaken the Yukon DRL's run off the dual hi/lo headlight bulb, I pulled the fuse for the DRL's and use the park and foglights during daylight. I just press the foglight button, has become second nature after 2-1/2 years, and IMO looks alot better than the stock headlight DRL's.
