(another) magneride question

I have a 2017 Tahoe with mag ride. replaced the old ones with Strutmasters full kit front and rear. I swear it rides worse than the blown stock suspension. It is so rough I want to drive it off a cliff.
I have a shop tool, I have re calibrated the level sensors probably 20 times as well as made sure all of the sensors at the wheels have readings. I've read that the steering sensor as well as a body roll sensor feed into the system, all have readings so I doubt it is them.
I have talked to strutmasters a few times and they are stumped, Ive talked to the dealership and they are about worthless.

air pump runs in the rear on startup.

If anyone has any advice besides "replace them with oem" im all ears!

Disconnect the electrical wires from the shocks nd see if they ride any different. Then pull the compressor fuse and see if they ride any different. This should help you identify the source of your issue.

A Quality bi-directional scanner would be extremely helpful in troubleshooting this type of issue. If you don't already have one, I recommend that you get yourself a quality bi-directional scanner to add to your tool box. Then, you will be able to read ALL trouble codes, along with a brief explanation/pointer to the source of your issue. You will also be able to reset/delete trouble codes, after taking corrective action. You will literally save thousands of dollars in diagnostic and repair costs over the life of your truck, and you will most likely recoup the cost of the scanner within 1 year.
