I came here looking for info on my wife's ride, an '07 LT3 and decided to hang out for a bit. Must admit, I drive an '06 F150 Screw, but have always liked the Chevy and GMC and have owned a couple. First truck in high school ('93) was an '80 Sierra dumped 6/8 and moved by an LT1...

Anyways, when she decided she wanted a bigger ride than the Subaru Legacy, I started shopping for a Tahoe. We bought it in Nov. '10 and I'm finally getting around to playing with it. I'm convinced I have the coolest wifey around since it has been her ideas, of course with a little influence from me.

Thanks for the compliments! Just a few simple mods to clean it up a bit. Debadged, demolded, removed glass hatch handle and center rack bars, satin black painted grill shell, 3M dinoc carbon overlay on the bowties, and satin black 22"x9" KMC Skitch's on Toyo 305/40's. Lowering will be next, probably a 2/4, and maybe some HID's. I'll get some more pics up soon but just shot a couple quick ones after pulling it out of the shop.

And felixgun, I think maybe i'm the lucky one for having a wife that wants to drive a sick Tahoe. When she says "I want it all black.." and "but I want mine lowered too.." you know you have a keeper. The look on her face when she saw it was priceless.

One of the grill.

:waytogo: Definitely sounds like a keeper! :D My wife pretty much let's me do whatever I see fit with the modding as long as it's "budget friendly" and "tasteful". I let her have a say in what happens with the Burb, of course, but what it comes down to is that she doesn't care much as long as she can get in and drive when she needs to :D When I'm able to get rims on it, though, we'll see. She's pretty picky on what she likes when it comes to rims. I've pointed out some OEM 20's and 22's and so far she's like the ones I've pointed out as possibilities so we'll see. :D
