Just ordered some more pieces cut....would you guys be interested in a group buy?

Lets say if I can get at least 5 guys that want either full sets or uppers/lowers I will take 10% off. So lowers and uppers would be $162 shipped, and a full set would be $284.

Let me know!
Alright gonna try to scrape the funds together for this ill keep you posted!

Group buy? I love the idea. I filed my taxes and I'm waiting for the direct deposit to complete...which is supposed to take 2 weeks. When that deposit hits you'll have my firm commitment for at least some uppers. For now all I can give you is a soft commitment. How does that float (or sink) your boat?
Only uppers? What are you doing for bottoms did you find a coilover with correct end to bolt directly to the LCA?

i think if a guy was confident in his welding abilities, he could use the DJM arms and the factory upper shock perch. i have NO welding abilities, and the guy i talked to swayed me towards using bolt on components, but i took the leap and tried the factory upper perch, and it seems to be fine...

I am thinking of using some 3" lowering DJM LCA's. It's merely a plan at this point.
Djm lowers that would be a good info to nail down and for people wanting to go lower. Keep us posted on your doings!
I sure couldnt, which is why I made these brackets to start with :/
While I have the mad scientist attention haha, I stumbled across these on the old interweb, 3E5CCC25-B0AE-464B-A3D4-EACD9A9DE5EC_zpsl6kheljf.gif t bar conversion for the loop instead of using the adaptor for stud mount, look like thisD7DFAEA0-B9E3-4AF4-9055-EF5B01AA8B9B_zps2ewcdhhu.gif all just thoughts but you could drill a bigger hole in the shock mount so the top of the loop can poke though and drill the two holes for the t bar to mount it to the upper shock mount kinda like this 8011FCE1-F23B-44AB-8164-F2279437436D_zps2m7gqd7n.gif your thoughts just thinking out loud.
Find this as well

Yes sir, I still need to get my camber kit installed but I just turned 100 miles on them and so far im pretty happy. Im gonna take the time this weekend to make a new thread but I really didnt take any pics during my install bc my hands were filthy. Most anyone thats gonna do this has been in there at least once so tear down should be a pretty easy task. I bought a 12lb sledge before I did it this time and MY GOD did it make things easier!

Dude...YOU ARE TEH BOMB! Those pictures are really cool to see. I'm not sure how much my plans will change between now and when I do the coliover conversion...but for the sake of my morbid curiosity, would you mind passing along the URL's to where you found those images? :)

...

In planning my front coilover conversion I'm trying to hit all these goals:
  1. Stay as low as I currently can
  2. Maintain or improve existing handling
  3. Improve the ride comfort as much as possible
  4. Use a set of QA1 shocks with the longest travel to help with dampening

Going with Atomic's uppers and modified djm lowers seems to be the best way to accomplish all of that. I will definitely let y'all know how the DJM lowers work out. I'm not a master fabricator, but it looks like removing the existing tabs and welding on new ones should be possible with the tools I have at my disposal:
