Got a 2015i Tahoe LT with lux, trailering, and ent. packages and have no regrets. Love it so far.

No regrets here. Love mine! I got one of the good ones apparently.
The only thing I question is if I should have gotten white.
I'm a black truck kinda guy. But the white looks damn good in the Denali.

I wish I had gotten the Atmosphere interior. I got the Shale, and it shows ALL the dirt.

Other than that, I haven't been disappointed at all.
Personally I think the shale will wear better. I liked the mixed color interior too when i saw it. But imo lighter interiors always seem to show wear marks more quickly.

Well, we ended up with a Yukon last night. Drove a couple and didn't notice anything as far as noises like described online. Lets hope it stays that way..

If you do, place it in manual shift mode and leave it at 6. You then shut off the AFM. If that eliminates the rumbling, droning sound some are mentioning it is the truck shifting into 4 cylinder mode.
My G8 used to do the same thing. An aftermarket exhaust will really accentuate it.

Nothing much can be done about it except for a tune that eliminates the AFM.

Also, make sure to run high octane gas. My Denali did not like 87 octane.

I got a 2016 Suburban with the Ent, Lux, Z71, Borla and crossbars.

  • Love the WiFi and three prong outlet - can be productive while on the road
  • Love the lane change assist for the morning commute in packed traffic - did not anticipate how helpful this would be.
  • RES with Blu-ray keeps my three sons quite and content
  • Borla is quiet for a cat-back, but has gotten a bit louder now that I'm over 1K miles - good thing. No drone at all, even in V4, and makes nice sound with aggressive throttle and >2.5K RPMS
  • Crossbars - what idiot chose the locations at GM? Obviously not someone who intended to put a large cargo bin or surfboard on top. I'm going to ask the dealer to drill some holes between the second and third locations.
  • Z71 - much, much prefer the look, as this is my truck and not my wife's. I also much prefer the shorter gearing, suspension, low-range, hill-descent, and lack of dangly bits in the front. The Suburban will be doing some off-road work, and I'm curious how it will perform compared to other SUVs I have had. Mainly steep gravel/grass ascents\descents with a few creek crossings. How limiting the length and width of the truck stand-out.

wanted a Denali, it sold days before got a STEAL on a SLT... just need the upgraded radio and I'm good. I swapped tails and grille to denali... debagged saved 15k!

Except the 15k wasn't for tail lights and grille only. I'm sure it looks good, though.

I have to admit the 6.2/8 speed trucks are all I will go with.

That being said I almost pulled the trigger on a 15 premium escalade this week. Wanted grey, found a black one they'd give me a good number on (11k off sticker) but with all the darn uber trucks around NYC, as much as I love black trucks (both are black, my vettes are black, my caddy is black) I want grey for the wife's truck, just looks like a livery ride in black to me now.

We got a Black Yukon SLT. I wish I had gotten a Denali only for the 6.2 option. Don't care about the other options.
Our next one will be white. I don't have the time like I used to....
I still don't think the price is warranted on these things. They are nice but not 60+k nice. They still have the usual GM assembly issues. Bathtub curve anyone.
