Anybody running or heard a single 10" or 12" SOLO X kicker?

I am running 3- L7 Kickers right now and I think I have blown 2 of them this weekend. I am going to have to buy new subs. I am looking at the new model L7's to replace what I have, 2- JL W6 12", and the new MTX 88series Thunder Squares. I been out of the stereo thing for quite a while and this set up was in my vehicle when I got it. They were in there since 03 so I think they were just worn. They hit hard and sounded ok I guess just looking for nice middle of the road subs sq and spl which I know can be hard.

In the title you put " Anybody running or heard a single 10" or 12" SOLO X kicker?". So is that what your trying to go with? From my understanding, a SoloX is in pretty much a diffenet class then a couple of JL W6's or L7's. Solo x is very different from a solobaric L7.

I've heard a few of them, they sound good for an spl sub but I wouldn't recommend them for a dd. Dude I knew back in the day had two ported 12s with about 5000w on each and you could hear him 8 blocks away like he was right behind you. You keeping the third row? IIRC you had a ZR1000 for the subs, get a pair of the 10" or 12" kicker solo classics if you want a really small enclosure

I absolutely LOVE mine, best kicker subs I have ever owned.

Thanks, seems like everyone was concentrating on the shock that I was talking about a Solo X. I know it is way different than a normal solo baric. Lol...if people are actually paying $1500 for them I need to get with my guy and start selling them. Max I do have that set up you remember I started to pm you the other night and ask you about your classics. I can get a damn good deal on those also...thanks for the input.

Yes, I know all of that I just wanted to know if anyone had ran or heard them in person. I was thinking about doing a totally different system thats all looking at all options.

Nobody in their right mind would pay that much, or at least I'd hope not. Check out the solo classics dude I've impressed quite a few people with mine the sound quality and response is fantastic. They seem to get better every day.

I once used a Solo X 12" ported off a ZX2500.1 daily, loud as heck, but for what that one did space wise, I would run two 12's like Max has, double the cone area.
