Anyone else experiencing this order delay???

Just got this message from my dealer:

I just checked order restrictions on GM again and they have updated that the PCK (luxury) package is under restriction due to supplier constraint. It also lists they have had the issue for 4 weeks and expect it to be resolved around the 28th.

Apparently the shortage started about the time I placed my order. It's really not surprising since they kicked up the rate at the Fort Worth plant to 3/8/6. Some of that rate increase is bound to hit suppliers.

It that is true, it must be really hurting deliveries. The PCK is a pretty popular package because it's the only way you can get power folding mirrors as I understand it.

Anyone else experiencing this order delay???

PCK Luxury Package, CF5 Sunroof, NQH Active Transfer Case, VQQ Black Roof Cross Racks

Thats it. Pretty straight forward.

I ordered the same package and haven't heard anything about it being delayed from my dealer. I was told last week my order was picked up and was assigned an order # but no VIN status yet. I guess I'll find out soon if it's true.

When did you order? Worse case maybe they'll offer some rebates by the time it arrives at the dealer.

Bummer, ours went in August 29th and was picked up Sept 8th. I ordered that package also so we'll be affected if it's true.

Well I just got an email that ours is scheduled to be built the week of the 21st (next week) so it must not be the Luxury Package that is delaying things. Any chance it's one of your other options? Maybe the sunroof since that seems to be a recall factor in the buffeting issues?

They just called and told me they are unloading it from the transporter now. I'll be going up Friday or Saturday to pick it up.

Anyone have experience of how long it takes from "Target Production week" to delivery (in the Northeast). Denali ordered Aug 5, finally has a TPW of Oct 5. Was hoping to have the truck before the end of October but have my doubts given the lack of information or concern from GM.

According to this fleet management site, there are big delays for Tahoes. Delays of 21-23 weeks are nuts. The guys at Dave Smith won't return my calls. Thinking about getting my $1000 deposit back and buying a Sequoia.
