Because I'd drive around smoking people like an idiot everywhere and it would cost me more money than the denali. Plus the cost of tires would kill me doing this shit all the time

although the 6.0 in the nnbs 2500 is quicker stock for stock.

No it isn't, not even close even with the 6 speed it's a smaller engine without a turbo.

accoding to the reviews on the NNBS 2500 alot of them state that the 6.0 is infact quicker 0-60 than the duramax. Now add a programmer to the d-max, and no way. But I have driven both and do agree that the 6.0 is quicker. Especally the 08 up which have 6 speeds.

No way, i've driven both and its not even close...

That being said, i wouldnt trade my diesel for anything. I just could never justify buying a p/u truck that isn't a diesel.

just look at the videos on youtube. It may feel quicker because of the added torque and Even if I wasnt towing more than 4000 pounds I would still own a diesel if I was buying s 2500. But if you count yours elf and use the counter its either even or a tiny bit faster.

I've ran an nnbs gasser next to an nnbs dmax and the LMM is considerably faster...0-30, 0-60, 30-60, doesn't matter dmax is faster stock for stock especially when lifted. You need to stop believing everything you see on teh internets. The dmax has greater displacement, forced induction, more torque, and just as many forward gears.
