Foreverfalcon40, I've researched the LQ4 engine and realize what it would take to make it work. I didn't think it was to labor intensive, do you think it is?

Personally, if you are going to do a 6.0 swap don't even bother with cams, intake, or other mods. However, if you are going to keep the longblock for another build/project play toy than it would be worth it to mod.

If you have that kind of ca$h flow, go for it.

What...that ****** ARCHIE!

When? How did I miss this?Is he doing it or another shop?

WHAt is he doing with his old set-up?

Yup. 06 Lq4 with 32K miles (found one for $1400 pretty complete) and throwing in a nice big cam that is blower friendly.

I'll probably start a new thread once I start the swap. I am doing the swap and have pretty much gathered everything I need to do it. I just need to find the time. I will be using a 2002 5.3 tahoe harness that I will modify and a 411 PCM.

My current setup (whipple, intercooler, meth, marine intake, headers) is already spoken for but when I sell anything I'll post up.
