Anyone have more pictures and videos of the 2022 Tahoe in Dark Ash Metallic and Midnight Blue Metallic?

So far these colors are so rarely seen online or on youtube. I seen a few examples on here but hoping to see more like in and out of the direct sunlight. I originally ordered a 2021 in Shadow Gray Metallic and that color was nice because it is darker then the Steel Metallic but not too dark. But now they made me reorder in a 2022 and the only thing that looked close was the Dark Ash and some of you guys mentioned it looked purplish brown so thats cause for concern and I'm still in a stage where I can make changes on my order because my order hasn't been picked by GM yet. Another color I am considering is the Midnight Blue which I still don't love as much as the Shadow Gray but I haven't seen that color much either.

Midnight Blue is pretty true to its name --- on a cloudy day you have to be paying attention to realize its not black. Add the low sun angle this time of year and it looks pretty dark in pictures.

Z71 Dark Ash Metallic w/ Gideon/Very Dark Atmosphere

I know the Dark Ash Metallic is new for 2022, but it's what I'm looking to order soon. I'm pretty confident about the exterior Dark Ash color, but I'm not sure how the Gideon/Very Dark is going to look with it. I think the interior color is already existing, so does anyone out there have a pic...

I started out with this color scheme both in and out. Saw the interior in person and was not a fan. The sales guy that showed it to me said it was a complete hit or miss with everyone that saw it. I changed to the light color but after seeing that in person as well as being honest about having 3 kids under 6 went black/black. Haven’t changed from the midnight blue. We live in AZ where there is plenty of sunshine to make the blue pop and not look black. Send a few on the road in person and they look great. Now whether to back out all the chrome ‍

The Midnight Blue is very convincing as black. Perfect example. A couple of weeks ago. I was searching for Z71 and one of the DFW metroplex dealers had a litter of eight Z71. All identically equipped. Two black, two MB, two Satin Steel and one each white and Auburn. I swung by one Sat before sales opened. The first of the two black ones had arrived…presumably late the night before. I took a look and parked my MB 21 Premier right beside it. The overcast skies and dark pigments were almost spot on. I looked and was like…Damm, I didnt see this one on the website…..Looks sharp……If my dog hadn’t broke my concentration by baraking…I would have waited around for sales manager and probably made a offer on my own vehicle. MB is very convincing for black especially with black or very dark rims.

Follow up…that one was sold. About half of the remaining seven arrived about four days later.. I drove the Satin Steel with the 6.2 and yes I teased myself, but found a pretty similarly equipped Z71 a week later.

My Dark Ash Metallic. Does not look blue or purple to me, in just about any light. Think it’s individual perception/illusion. Looks like a lighter black to me, if that makes sense.

Get the Midnight Blue……rumor is that will be taking a hiatus after the New Year…hopefully a short hiatus.
