Anyone put an E Cutout on a 2015+ 5.3?

Awesome, Matt!
Thanks for running with this. What's your impression? Does it sound stupid? Hilarious? Any regrets? Do you notice the absence of the flapper? Are you running partially open at times? Where did you mount the switch?

Sorry for all of the questions! Just a little excited over here....
I love it. Stupid loud, but doesn’t sound stupid. Yes it’s hilarious, but no ragrets nam sayin. It’s hard to tell when it’s fully opened or closed, I just hold it about 8 seconds. This makes it a little hard to find the middle. It’s not really a gradual volume adjustment, it gets to like 80% volume right away.

No switch, I got the wireless remote module, but I have that mounted across from the battery in the engine bay.

I welcome other questions, I’m excited about it too. Still smile every time I open it up.

Still working on taking video when I get time.

hey Matt, do you remember the overall length of that summit cut out? I read somewhere that they are 14 inches long? For whatever reason it’s not on their website. I’m seeing if I can make or find and cut down a shorter one in an attempt to keep the flapper without a bunch of work.

Just measured 10 inches from seam to seam. Picture is a little deceptive but I attached anyway.

I had a QTP installed on my wife's Yukon. She loves it! I upgraded to the red remote 1 click style module. I initially used the black remotes and got tired of counting the seconds it took to fully open or close. Got paranoid thinking I'd burn up the motor. I also linked it to the Homelink system. button 1 is garage, 2 is open, 3 is close. Works flawlessly.
