I did one on an 86 camaro back in 89, had no issues at all, I think I paid like 150 for a pop up. Are you thinking of going retractable. Be a trend setter and go with t-tops, I dont think you'll see any of them around lol

I hear ya fatnlowtahoe504!! I love sunroofs personally, and don't have one!!! Was the one thing I wanted when looking for my tahoe, but couldn't pass up the deal I got on this one. I have looked into doing a conversion on mine, not a big deal, but yes, alittle bit of work needed to complete, would just be hard making the first step of getting it done and having a huge hole cut into the roof. But I love sunroofs, and most vehicles I have owned have had them, and I always used them.. That G6 sunroof would be SICK!!!!

Man, I have an 01 with a factory sunroof and it doesnt leak at all. But I do love having it and if you can afford it, and you think it will come out ok, I say go for it.

first place to check is your dealership, and ask them if they have a vendor that does it for them. It is not uncommon at all to add a sunroof to a vehicle not equiped with one. This is my first GM vehicle but when i had a nissan, they had a vendor that they worked with to add sunroof to a vehicle if you wanted it. You just find out the vendor's location and go work out a deal for yourself leaving the dealership out of it. They did it on a Nissan Pathfinder for about $800 which is about what the stand alone option would cost. Warranty and stuff comes from the installer, not the dealership
