Tuner leaves "tracks". Plug-ins don't.

Tow mode will not eliminate it.
Manual shift keeps it off.
I bought the Range Technology AFM eliminator and would not recommend it.
Mine has had its share of gremlins. Sometimes the truck won't start so I need to unplug it. Then the maintenance light stays on until I go through a couple key cycles.

My vibration has actually died out as I have accumulated miles. If I ever do get to a point in which I notice it, manual mode.

But yes, GM AFM is horrible. Same with the crap Cadillacs have in which the engine shuts off at stoplights.
