Are HIDs worth getting?

Ok, so this weekend I drove my boys Beemer with HID's. I'm sold! Totally different perspective from behind the wheel as opposed to on coming traffic. I felt like I had on Blu Blockers!! LOL Shyt was crystal clear..

Just got done installing them on my '99 Yukon. I went with the 55w kit, 8000k color.

One thing to remember, the headlight wiring was BACKWARD on mine (the truck, not the HID kit). I ended up cutting and resplicing the wires the opposite way. Total install time WITH resplicing was about 35 minutes.

Also, my DRL module is bad, so I didn't have to worry about disabling those.

definately worth getting. i have 55w 10000k low beams with 35w 8000k fogs. i never need to use my high beams. ever.
