Arnott sk3354 vs. Acdelco o.e. ride quality?

I'm looking to replace the front struts on z95 suspension. I know all my option and prices and all that. My question specifically to the ride quality of the arnott sk3354 vs. Acdelco o.e. on a stock 2wd tahoe with factory 22 inch wheels. Strictly how the arnott ride characteristics compared to the factory equipment in fully functional condition with the same wheel size. Thanks

I looked it up but the info I found does not state if it is passive or not, if it is not passive then you probably will not notice any difference from oem, the arnott stuff is good and comparable to or better than oem, if you buy it through a authorized dealer then it should have a lifetime warranty as well.

Magnaride is better. Arnotts are really good too. I have the Arnotts on all 4 corners.

I think it depends on the ride that you like. I like firm. I have a 15 Escalade and previous owner had already installed NER magneride knockoffs. I like firm but below 65mph they are way too stiff. Above 65 they ride great! In reading the posts it sounds like Arnotts have a softer ride. I'm looking to replace the NERs but I don't want a mushy ride.
There is no shortage of posts in this section having to do with Magneride replacement, so I'm just reading and trying to decide. I love my L86 Escalade, but suspension is definitely an issue. Let us know what you decide and how the ride is.

After more research on the arnott 3354 I've confirmed it is passive not active.

My thoughts so far are the arnott sk3354 is a great product.
O.E. build quality without the O.E. technology.
Im leaning towards the acdelco O.E.
My reasoning is with the 22" wheels and a normal passive shock it's going to have the ride quality of any other suv that someone put aftermarket 22" wheels on. (not that great).

I read they are designed by Arnott but built by Eibach. And if they are good enough for Thrust with the supercharger and big brakes they are worth a try.

Yeah you’ll notice the handling being less sporty which I kind of miss but the ride being so much improved is worth it. We carved a few canyon roads and its still handles fine but there is a little floatiness on a few of the transitions. But overall the ride is much less busy… and we were in a friends SLT Yukon without mag ride and our ride with the arnotts is still a step above theirs.

not much you can do about the 22" wheel rough ride except go with 20" instead, crappy shocks do not help the matter
Dorman started making active replacement shocks but couldn't comment on the quality, dorman is always hit or miss
there are not many options for active shock replacement.
