I recently picked up a 2009 Yukon Denali with Navigation & Bose stereo. I want to keep the stock nav unit, but I don't have a USB port and want to add one. I'd like to know 3 things: 1) If it's possible; 2) How difficult would it be to add it to the inside of the center console; 3) what is the part number and cost of the part?

DO you want it to just charge your phone or do you want the full functions like the stock USB?

Interested in this as well.

From what I've read, I believe you have to swap to a newer head unit 2010+ that has the USB built in.

There are post on this site that show how to swap one of the lighters over to a USB plug which is pretty slick.
