Hey guys just starting to look into lowering my yukon since i got it back.. it has factory autoride and im wondering exactly how low can i go before i run into issues and need to eliminate the autoride and just go to standard shocks. i want to go as low as possible and if i must eliminate it i will.

also would like to know this, and how much different is the ride with lowered/shocks compared to stock/autoride?

Any lower then 3.5 rear spring needs new shocks or ride suffers

My 03 Tahoe has autoride, but I got the Service Ride Control on my dash and it hasn't worked for a while. I was wondering what are the benefits of the air suspension? I don't tow anything and I never really carry anything in my car usually, other then myself. Is it better to just go to a set of Blisten's and would I notice any difference in everyday driving?

You could pull the fuse(relay) or take some of the system out to sell unless you plan to replace for resale

I don't have air ride but I have had vehicles with air shocks and they do provide a smooth ride. If yours isn't working buy some bilsteins or Belltech street performance.
