Auto dimming headlights 2019

I have a new Yukon XL with more bells and whistles than I can comprehend but I really liked the auto bright/dimming headlights. They were on when we purchased the truck but reading 'til my eyes turn red I can't figure how to activate that function again or how to tell if it is disabled/enabled. Can anyone help in layman's terms? I really like that feature.

Not always easy to find the applicable info but if you go to page 182 in your Owner's Manual, Intellibeam activation and indication is described.

Push the high beam stalk forward and back twice. Then you'll get a green led indicator on the dash that is similar to the high beam indicator, but with an "A" in the center.
