Did a little searching for a set of Power/Heated/Auto Dimming side mirrors but haven't had any luck finding an OBS set. SO do these actually exist and what did they come on? (assuming nali's and esky's?)

debating whether to run a set of NBS diesel mirrors or hold out for a set of heated and (maybe if they exist) auto dimming mirrors.

Why not do it then?
I'm not mechanically inclined, and I somehow managed to get it done.

Step 1:
- Find a vendor that you like and order up a set from EBAY.

Step 2:
- Follow THESE steps to install.

If the auto-dim and heated exist, I coudn't find them either. Seems to be pretty mythical. Current searches of Ebay come up empty.

I too, have the same question as many others.... Does anyone have proof positive that NBS mirrors fit with no physical modifications on OBS trucks? (wiring aside)

If so, then I'd ditch my current OBS heated mirrors pronto and get some fancy NBS stuff!

Hi -

New to the forum & new to OBS Tahoes. I just picked up a 2000 Tahoe Z71 and it has power, heated, and dimming OSRV mirrors. Kinda caught me off guard driving it home in the evening & noticed the mirrors dimmed just like the one inside...hope this helps.

good to know they actually exist!! would even settle for a set of heated mirrors if I can't find the dimming mirrors for a decent price.

anyone know if there is a specific RPO code or anything to tell them apart from the normal mirrors? next to impossible to "test" them at the salvage yards.

Big question is what were they available on other than the 00 Z71's?

According to an option sheet I have for the truck, the RPO is DD0 (zero).

Really? Those are NBS? Shoot.. I thought they were OBS heavy duty deisel something or other....

I will ask him about it...Thanks!

I'd like the auto-dimming, power, heated, turn-down in reverse and red arrow NBS mirrors! Still stock looking but with more features!
