The auto HVAC isn't bad.. except for small buttons and changing the temperature setting! (Adjusting fan speed is usually just a couple of button presses) Probably wouldn't consider it, except I think my heater core is leaking, so I might attempt an auto to manual control swap.

That looks like the harness around the HVAC unit, but I think there is another harness that plugs into the controls as 1 plug is different and the pinouts are moved around. Not sure I can just re-pin the existing wires.. Might have to try a junkyard/recycler to be safe..
