Im sorry if tgis is a stupid question....and im extra sorry if this is one of those beat to death topics..... but im sittin at the docs... and figd i'd ask.

I have a 2002 escalade awd w the 6.0. All my suvs in the past have been 4wd... and id have to go from 2 to 4 wd....

So here is the question. When the bad weather finally moves in... do i have to do nothing different with the truck? The only button i found says STABILITRAC and when I push it i see this light... is that just like a trac control?

AWD = Just drive it..... it automatically transfers power from "the wheels that slip to the wheels thast grip". The button you found disables this slip/grip function to balls out power to all wheels!!
