I think the CCD would have a better picture, but the CMOS would be less expensive.

im running one, not sure what it is though lol.. its bolted to the top of my license plate and comes up on the double din when thrown in reverse. ill take a pic of mine, I can split screen and view behind me while driving as well.

Works awesome, even at night.

I have an eBay special. Works great considering it cost $30. I mounted the monitor where the onstar buttons were. It isn't great at night,but I can still see bc my reverse lights are bright. If I had a double din opening, I would just get a DD Stereo and wire up a nice camera to it (better way to go)

The screen is very old tech resolution wise but I love having it especially when backing up to one of my trailers since I can adjust the head on the camera down to see the hitch. Makes backing up to a 4x8 flat bed so easy with one person.

It's a little pricey, the entire thing would be about $650. But it's worth it. A buddy of mine got the head unit for $129
