I have a auto transmission and I have 2 buttons next to my radio for push button 4 wheel drive.

I meant auto 4wd as in there is the push button selector for the tcase that says aut04wd on it. It would also say neutral on it. There were two different push button systems for the obs 4x4 platform.

On that one a dealer with Tech2 equipment or maybe an advanced Snap-on or OTC scanner you can read codes of the specific module that controls that for a clue as to what is going on but in short either you motor is shorting the power feed to ground or the control module relay contacts are fused together.

Oh and if first pic you have a auto4wd system t-case number nvg-246 RPO NP8. Only use Autotrac2 fluid in the tcase.
