3.75" BS is a good bit, the wheels will stick out a bit, be prepared to trim possibly.

I just want to clarify something on keys too....stock keys or aftermarket keys are all doing the same function, all load up teh T bars to raise the front up so BOTH ways will add additional strain on steering and suspension parts.

Ok, thanks. That's a pretty straight forward answer, haha. I talked to my local off-road specialty shop to check on the status of that reflector lens I ordered, and forgot to ask about the difference between new or stock keys. But I guess that settles it. Yeah, I figure it'll be a much easier BS to deal with than 4"... and I'm pretty sure that here in Cali we do have the law against tires sticking out further than the fenders... I'll probably going to have to buy some flares. Oh well, less money than a ticket, right?

true. flares will make it legal hear.

Isn't it ridiculous how often this "law is broken though? Whatever, I don't want to push my luck. I would bet I'd get pulled over within a week of getting it done. Especially when I finish my damn light bar, because the lights have to be covered on highways and are illegal most of the time.

Sorry guys, another question. So remember when I said I have suspension issues to get fixed? I'm doing that friday. Getting the Idler and Pitman arms replaced, and getting it aligned, and the shop is also suggesting I have them install 4 new OE shocks too. When I lift this truck, even if it's just 2", will I have to replace the shocks again with longer ones? If so, is it possible to just put longer shocks with a little more play in them on now?

Since you guys are on the topic of lifts and seem to know what your talking about, I'm new to this game as well.

I have a 2008 Tahoe that I want to do a 6" suspension lift with 35s, what I have ran into in my research is, what brand lift? as well as the autoride/air level issue. Is there a lift company out there that will accommodate the autoride or is just something to be deleted/disabled on the vehicle entirely.

Any input is appreciated, thanks fellas
