No i did not put it where the original bushing was. I need to get down on the dirty floor and take a pic of what I did. I described it pretty well. Loosened all 4 bolts of the rack so they are just holding on by a thread, could completely unbolt but this is just what I did, took that coil booster which is round and jammed it between the rack and the frame in front of the rack so some was hanging under and over the rack, about in the mid section of the rack, it fits in there pretty tight, then tightened the bolts so its very solid, also putting pressure on the original bushings. There are different heights to the coil spring boosters, i need to find exactly which size i used so you dont get one thats too thick or too thin. I left it in its round shape when i jammed it up there but since it has the groove where the coil sits you could straighten the thing out and put the rack body in that coil groove also. Either way it wont fall out and does its job. So far my steering is still good. I just need to get down there and measure that booster i got and take a pic for you. Sorry I dont get on this particular forum too much.
