Bench idea.

I want to remove my bench in my 2dr 96.

The back rest where it lays down I want to replace with either metal or wood, to keep the floor so if I go camping or for equipment. That way I can also keep the area where the bottom part of the bench empty for storage purpose. Does that make sence ? Any ideas or opinions welcome.

which ever option used seal up the material real well and make it look good. perhaps brushed aluminum or oak.

Yeah if it's wood some sealant an a stain. An metal I was thinking maybe a bendliner. Cause I need it to hole weight. But also be light enough for me to lift it up an get or put the stuff in the foot wells.
