My cousin is getting ready to put bed liner on his truck and I know several of you have used bed liner kits to paint your fenders and bumpers. What kit yields the best results and lasts the longest? So far I have only seen the Por15 DIY kit. How does that stuff work? Does anyone have any good pics of what they did themselves and what they used? Thank you!!

We used the roll on herculiner, was cheaper then the others and it's held up really good. We coated the inside of a Dodge Ramcharger (Blazer type truck) ...

Does it get beat on or is it covered up by the carpeting and all that? This is going to be in his truck bed where he puts a lot of big heavy stuff so it definitely is going to have to hold up well

Thats what I told him but he is all about saving money... If it were my truck I would have it done professionally since it is going to take such a beating. He actually uses the pickup part of his truck a lot. Haha

He will spend more money in the long run doing it himself cuz he will have to do it again later on after he's beat on it a bit :)

Ill tell him that and see if I can convince him. You agree that a LineX will hold up and last longer than any sort of DIY bedliner?

It' snot covered up but not really beat up either. We did it so when we took it off road and got it stuck in the mud we can just hose it out.

Yes, LineX is far better than any DIY liner:waytogo:

...and comes with a warranty. That might help sway him as well.
