Best way to lower my Yukon XL

I was looking to do a mild drop on my 05 Yukon XL and was curious as what would be the best way to do it? Shackles and hangers, springs, drop spindles, etc.? This is my daily driver so I don't want to put it on the ground. Just looking to even it out and lower the front a couple of inches. Maybe a 2/4 drop or something like that. I am riding on 265/35/22 and want to close the gap on the inner fender wells without worrying about rubbing. Once my tires wear out, they basically only have 3,000 miles on them, I plan to go to 275/45/22. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Belltech 2/4 drop kit (front spindles and rear springs, rear shock relocators so they don't bottom out. ) Free travel mod in the rear so you don't bottom out on the bumpstops, DJM rear sway bar endlinks so the panhard bar doesn't hit.

If you have to ask, then leave it up to a professional. Even guys on here have had issues and have dropped the SUV on their arm breaking it. It can be done, but if you don't know 100% what you're doing, leave it to someone who does. Especially when you're trusting your life and others on it.

It's definitely something I have never done before and don't want to get hurt trying. I am pretty handy and have family members that are very automotive savvy. Just wasn't sure if I should request their help or I could do it myself. I will definitely enlist their help on it. Thanks, I appreciate you looking out for my safety @NathanJax

Red Rocket won't steer you wrong. If you have some car savvy guys like you said, I'd order the kit and have a look at it. Then look to see what it takes to put it in. The rear is a piece of cake with the exception of the sway bar bolts. One of my NJ truck bolts broke. I spent more time on that then the rest of rear.
Doing the front isn't too hard but is "heavy" work and time consuming. I did it all myself but had the benefit of a lift.
No beer until your done. Then sit back, enjoy the look, pat yourselves on the back and realize how much $$$ you saved.
Next day, get the front end aligned.

Oh, and if your going to do any towing or might in the future, get the helper air bags. Very easy to put in while the rear is apart and only about $80.....

I paid to have my drop spindles done because I heard my Denali was a ***** to do but the rest of it wasnt too bad. Free travel mod requires sawzall skill and you need to take care not to cut into the fuel tank but it's not too bad. Rear endlinks just require drilling a hole in the frame and moving a bracket over. If you have autoride you also need to modify the ride height sensors.

I do have autoride on my Yukon so modification of the ride height sensors will have to be done. Thanks again for all the information @Red Rocket !
