I've got a completely stock 07 Denali 6.2. What do you think the before and after rwhp (awd) would be?

Although the engine can make 403HP, there is a lot of drivetrain HP loss on these vehicles.

We had an 07 6.2L sierra on the mainline (load bearing dyno) and it only made 325HP at the wheels (that was with a tune and an intake).

Very...many don't realize that the ratings are JUST the motor. Load bearing dynos tell the truth that is for sure.

Ok just so everyone understands, a estimated 403 hp from GM is that only of the engine, when your on a load bearing dyno, you have to take into account the loss for transmission and drive train, including the all wheel drive system and anything else in the mix, 325 hp is really not that bad considering your loosing the hp through the drive line components.

Dyno's measure the exact wheel horse power, the estimated power your reading from GM is at the flywheel, so your not comparing apples to apples hence the difference in about 78 hp... as jennabear explained... :)

Ok so if the 403 hp/6.2L is actually pulling in much less then that on the dyno, what is the regular 5.3L Yukon/Tahoe pulling in? Not that I don't believe you or anything.. I do.. i'm just curious as this is kind of shocking to me!
