No vararam twin intake test?
That looks pretty cool. I wonder if the improvements come mostly from sensor placement???

We would be happy to help. For your vehicle, overall the AFE performed the best in that round of testing we did. Here is a link to the results and the intake on our website, if you want to check it out. http://blackbearperformance.com/IntakeTestResults_2016.asp2016 Tahoe with the 5.3. I will be getting a tune from blackbear once its all together as I am also putting in a built trans that will require tune adjustments. Since I will be tuning would you recommend the AFE or the Volant intake setup?
We tested the intake on a 16 Yukon Denali 6.2, but it will work with your 5.3 as well. The model number you need would be 54-74110, we actually have an unopened one on hand ready to ship if you are interested.I am looking at adding the AFE Momentum GT Pro and a Jet Powerflo TB to my 2017 Tahoe 5.3 (78,000 miles). However, when I looked at the results for air intake it looks like the results in the link provided above (2016 Intake Test Results) results are for a 6.2 not a 5.3 - or am I misreading these?
Also, any thoughts on the Jet TB?
Thanks,
Tim

It would be similar for the 5.3, 54-74110 is what we would recommend for your vehicle. Will the AFE Momentum produce similar HP results on the 5.3 as it did on the 6.2 or is there a better option you have for that engine?
