driving in town at night wasnt so bad, with the street lights and all. i took my truck out to the track last night. bunch of windy roads out in the middle of nowhere. and i couldnt see a goddamn thing. my high beams are maybe half of what a normal cars low beams are. IMO it was a terrible idea.

They're ok with hids and a light coat of tint, I have a few buddies that run them and even a fairly dark tint still has greater output than a stock halogen setup.

I'm swapping to 55w 5000k highs and fogs if you want my old stuff, otherwise I'll just use them as spares. They make a HUGE difference.

i dont know shit bout HIDs. whats the diff between 55w and whatever else? and what color is the 5000k?? my shit shows up like a greyish blue color. with the tint on my lights. so i know thatll effect the color of the hids

bye bye fogs lights. lol. 55W in ur fogs are just going to kill them. I have some discoloration in my silverados fog lights and their huge. But I still like them. I love the 5000k lows 55W. the fogs are great, but I think I need new housings as the stupid thing fell off. the metel shield lol.

looks real sexy tho. i just swapped my 35w 6000k for 55w 5000k. really effing white and much brighter even with the black headlight housings. m-effers hate me when i pull up behind them at red lights! my headlights hit their mirrors and they gotta cover their eyes.... funny.
