My vote is for you to do the joey mod/paint the inside of your factory headlights black and then retrofit projectors in the high beam/low beam

But for how much? These are 179

To black out your factory headlights you'd have to take them out, bake them in the oven to take off the front cover, then get some black spray paint so if you were comfortable with all that, then it could be done for WAY less. Alot of people get those headlights and everyone takes them right off.. ask Sumo and Serge :Handshake:

Pros of this: Cost way less to black it out yourself, Factory Headlight is WAY better build quality, you can retrofit REAL projectors in the future if you want

Cons: Time and expertise taking apart the headlight

Speaking of tinting headlights and baking them and stuff... Has anyone just put tint film on them to tint them? If so, what was the result? My lenses are getting hazy and i need to do something about it before it gets too bad and thought putting a light tint film over them might cover up the issue and look good as well.....

Opinions?

I wet sanded my wifes with 2000 grit paper and polished, and they came back pretty good.

So i take it they are junk, what is low quality? the whole thing or just the projectors?

Headlight is junk. Projector in headlight is junk.

Well ok then, I'm getting the feeling you think they are junk lol

Thanks for the advise, i hate buying stuff that just isnt what you think it is. Just goes to show, you get what you pay for.
