LOL just trying to save you some time and money. If you decide to do this, they make pre fab retro fit projectors in oem style housing... definitely the best headlight choice.

Totally appreciated, i think imight tackle the open up and paint the housing. The projector addition seems alittle out of my comfort zone. Ill end up with wiggling headlights over bumpy roads lol

No prob man. Here is the DIY when you decide to tackle it:

LOL actually the projectors in the headlights shown above are known for 'wiggling headlights' since they use cheap projectors that aren't seated well.

For 949.00, Serge directed me to a website where the low beam has been retrofitted (with QUALITY projectors) in OEM style housings. Looks SICK.. it's on my to-do list...

I blacked out both the tails and headlights on our Kon. The Tails came out great. The headlights not so much, the Light output was terrible and I don't even think HID's would have made a difference. I would definitely suggest the joey mod the others speak of or retrofitting HID's into the ones you have chosen for better output.

I have a pair of the Sonar's w/ the Xentec HID's and I like them quite a bit. I understand though that both products can be hit or miss. So be for warned.

That being said I went from barely being able to see with blacked out healights to full projecting HID's so I am sure that has something to do with my happiness.
