The OEM ones are wider and act like a valance type trim piece further hiding the frame rails.

And the rear lower control arms those ugly little bastards
it also rounds off the truck on the bottom and brings the belt down a little bit

There are a set on eBay right now for 899 lee and the harnesses are only 50 bucks a side if you can muster it doooo ittttt!!!
