I don't have Belltech xtenders. I took them off 2.5 years ago when I got the short Bisltein 5100 shocks.

No extenders at all. You only need the extenders if you are running stock, or stock replacement shocks. The Bilstein HD is a stock replacement shock so it needs extenders. The Bilstein 5100 is not a stock replacement shock. It is a short universal shock so it does not need extenders.

Guys Im honestly so confused.

Sooo Ive been drving around trying to feel the difference now with the hardware kit...
I was getting some really hard bounces over bumps so i decided to test the waters with out the bumpstops.
Without the bump stops I no longer get a loud clank over larger bumps which leads me to believe I never was slapping axle to frame but rather something else that the hardware kit fixed.
Regardless I still hate the ride..
But im not so sure its all the belltech sp shocks I hate.
I dont feel like the ride could be this horrible just because of these shocks but I also dont want to blame the 5303 coils because everyone with auto ride loves them which leaves me completely lost.
The only thing it could be at this point is the shocks.
I am placing an order for bilstein hd shocks as I type.

I guess I will install those and see where we go from then.

Oh ok I was led to believe you would always use the extenders to correct the incorrect shock angle...
So are you telling me I should take the extenders off of my belltech sp shocks?

Bilstein HD shocks on order.

The shock angle is fine. The extenders are for extending the long shock (stock shock is too long after the car is dropped) so it actually functions properly.
If you have the Belltech SP shocks that are meant for a 4" drop, then yes, you should not have extenders installed.

I think you are in a nightmare Bro. :banghead:

IMHO......If you hate the ride THAT much, then it must be the Belltech springs, not shocks alone.

I could be very wrong, but the shocks alone can't be responsible for that bad a ride like you say.

What new shocks did you order, HD or 5100?

You ordered the Pedders, or going to wait and see how the shocks do first?

Hey, could you please post a picture of the trailing arms hanging low?

Thanks.
