ok so i have my front end raised courtesy of the torsion bars but now it sits with the front end high, and im not a big fan of that sort of thing, i like it raked the other way with the back end up, or level, my question is which is better in terms of reliability and drivability, im looking to raise the back end and make it stiffer too, its a little bouncy (shocks too i know, those will come when i raise it) i know add a leafs add some stiffness to the leaf pack, but what about blocks, ive never used them before

and i guess it would be a good time to ask, whats a nice stiff shock, im used to owning a jeep so i dont like the boaty feel our trucks have stock lol, i know bilsteins are really good shocks but are they stiff? i heard they are on the softer side of performance shocks

unknown at this time.
taller and stiffer=bigger springs

If you want a stiff shock get a Rancho rs9000 and set it to its stiffest setting. Or just weld or bolt some makeshift rods in there place.

Auxiliary air springs could accomplish the same thing.

a block will not really alter the feel of the rear suspension where an add a leaf will make for a stiffer ride. When loking for new shocks...1-2" of lift, stay away from stock lengths now.

sweet thanks guys, i think i might do like a 2 inch add a leaf in the rear with the rs9000 ranchos in the rear too, for the front ill just go with like the rs5000's or something like that, the front has the perfect feel with the cranked torsion keys
