Mods, if in the wrong section please relocate as needed.
My blower motor reduces speed after driving for a few minutes then eventually quits all together.
Any thoughts before I go out and buy a squirrel cage?

Sounds like the motor itself to me. Does it make any sounds while it is running? Ive only seen the resistor pack work or not never that. It seems to me the bearings are going bad in the motor.

It sounds like it's blowing harder than it actually does.

My 06 denali is doing the same thing. I happened once about 2 weeks ago. I accelerated hard and completely lost all air. It came back after a few mins. Just today it cut out, came back in, and then went out. Hasn't come back on all day. I pickup up a new blower motor on my way home from work. Hoping that fixes it. I replaced my resistor about 2 years ago. When the old one went out, air was on full blast even with the car off. I had to pull the fuse when i wasn't driving. Ill keep you posted.

Update! I fixed mine. One of the resistor wires and quick connect was burn. Re-did that, and replaced the blower motor and its all good. Air flow is stronger than before. I think my motor was going bad and cause a resistor wire to burn up.
