Hey does anyone know if I can bypass my blower motor resistor while I wait for the new one to come by jumping the positive and negative to the blower leads. I see the 3rd wire going in I'm guessing is a logic wire possibly. I just don't want to mess up other things. Other than that is a balmy 20 degrees today so we don't really need the heat haa. Thanks In adavance

Is your resistor, completely burned up? Or, running only when the selector is set to high speed?

If it's burned you're screwed anyway. If it runs on high only, just keep turning it on and off, 'till your new one arrives. I don't thinking jumping anything would be a very good idea.

Thank you, it was doing nothing; I think there must be a relay inside to turn things on that was the problem. I banged on it a few times and it worked till the new one showed up. It didnt look burned at all or have any smell, but where the wires were touching the foam sound deadening material it looked like they may have got warm... not sure how I missed the notification for the post.
