.. aaaaaaaaand it's not the rotors.

Pitman and idler arms are going to be replaced, hopefully tomorrow after I get off work. Figured it out late tonight and kids were in bed before I started so I couldn't be loud with my hammers...

Fortunately, Amazon Logistics sucks at making timely deliveries so I simply cancelled my order for the rotors. had they been here when advertised I'd be out more money.

Pitman arm and idler arm replaced. Added a steering stabilizer from rough country. Looking at beefing up the tie rods and add singe sleeves along with some pitman and idler arm braces and a nice little sway bat set to wrap everything up...

Lol.. I just found out that I probably need new tie rods as well, inner and outer... :gd:

driving down the highway and had to break hard.... started to shake. No where near as bad as before but enough that my son noticed in the back and caused the wheel to shake decently.

So now I will be trying to sell these upper control arms and the 1" BORA spacers in order to fund some of the pitman braces and some new tie rods and sleeves. Want to make this front end be able to withstand about anything.

And then tomorrow I get to replace them tie rods... hopefully that will be the last of the wobbly-woes.

But here's a photo for your viewing pleasure. It was nice and overcast out so the Tahoe got a wash and the paint looked good. Wish it were actually that nice.

New pitman arm, new idler arm, new outer and inner tie rods on both sides, new steering stabilizer, everything freshly greased...

Tracks straight, responsive turning and wobbles a little at around 55 though thay could be a flat spot in the tires since the temps dipped and the Tahoe sat for a couple days... also could be that the two is a little off but who knows...

I'm happy.

Also, appreciate it @Fosscore. Its coming around in my eyes and becoming what I envisioned about three years ago, though there's still a lot left.

Need to repaint the roof again; should do a design you there with gunmetal and black. Maybe checkers or an American flag or a dinosaur lol.
