Body sway is pissing me off.

So I don't know what is pissing me off more, the enormous amount of body sway or the fact that the second cup hold is too shallow. End result, coke got spilt all over my interior during a sharp turn.

How do I stop the body sway again???

Anti-sway bars.....more commonly called sway bars. Eibach makes some very nice ones that are pretty affordable. If you're going to that expense, it would probably be a good idea to replace all of your shocks if you haven't done that in a few years...

Did you take the front sway bar off?

I have very minimal sway in mine as it sits now

Have you tried bottles with caps instead of cans?

i don't notice much body roll in mine. May be time to look at springs, shocks, and T-bars if yours is THAT bad.

could pull a sway bar off the rear of a 4-door.

1.) No I haven't removed or added anything to the stock suspension.

2.) Smart a$$, lol.

I do agree that the cup holders suck.

Procomp makes a good point though, if it is really bad something needs to be fixed.

I had forgotten you are stock height too, how are the shocks? can you rock the truck a lot by simply pushing on the side of the truck?

My shocks are bright yellow, rusted, and appear to be original.

may be time to replace them. I ran Bilstien HD shocks and was very happy with them

Alright, I broke down and purchased a Rough Country Add-a-leaf kit (2.5" X 51.25") for around $80.00 and I also ordered a set of Rough Country Nitro 9000 Shocks (0-1 inch lift) for about $150.00 through JC Whitney online.

That should stiffen my stock suspension and add a slight lift when I apply the torsion crank to around 2 inches on the front end. All in all I hoping for a height increase of 2.5 inches to the rear, 2 inches to the front, and a much stiffer ride with NO FREAKIN BODY SWAY all for around a $250 investment.
