I've got access to some great audio measuring tools when I get back to my home office next week. But in the meantime, here's what I got using free apps. Note that my cargo area and backseat are loaded to the gills with stuff for my summer work trip, surely affecting measurements
With dB meter:
Cruising at 70 mph, average was around 65 dB and max was around 72ish dB, tossing out readings that were higher when hitting potholes, etc.
With RTA:
See images
1st- idle
2nd- moderate acceleration from a stoplight
3rd & 4th- 70 mph on interstate, measured when cruise control added light throttle to maintain speed
