Front-left brake clink (like hitting 2 screwdrivers together once) when you apply the brakes. Seems like only once til you drive away and hit the brakes again.

brake pad
Dealer claims after-market pads didn't fit perfectly and had some play that clunked when they grabbed. Don't know if I believe it, but replaced with new GM parts and it seemed to go away (?).

Most likely missing hardware for the pads on that side.
They sold you new brake pads / hardware.
