brake pads wear uneven

gmc changed the brakes on the 04 yukon denali about 4-5 months ago

now the brake pads are seriously uneven

the top is almost gone and the bottom of the pad is full

looks like these pads

is this bad pins or pistons on the caliper?
should i complain to GMC?

Sounds like sticky calipers

The calliper pins could be seized or not moving good. I re-lube mine every year to prevent that issue, So far never had a pin seize.

I can not believe the GMC dealer can not lube the calipers when I pay them top dollar for new brakes.

This is ridiculous.

you have to pay extra for it. It's a calpier service. not very many shops will just do it.
