My 2016 Yukon XL Denali with 17,000 miles is in for grooves in the rotors. It sounded like metal against metal. I started complaining about my brakes around 12,000 miles. I looked at my rotors yesterday and the driver side had a huge groove in it. They are replacing all my rotors and pads since I called GM about it. But they said large grooves are normal wear and tear?? This car has had tons of issues and I'm getting tired of it being in the shop at least once a month. It has been in for
Replaced front light casing
Replaced carpet
Replaced one of the rear vents
Replaced module for lane departure
Been in 3x for front camera
Been in 3x for service rear camera
Bearings and part in steering column(took 2 times to diagnosis it)
Transmission jerking(said it's normal)
Both mirrors replacing due to noise and rubbing
4 wheel drive system(told me not to use it basically and if I do I need to go in reverse for 6 feet to get it back to 2WD)
Tire sensor monitoring system replaced
All 4 rotors and pads being replaced(took 2 times to fix this)
Been in for airbag recall
Navigation stopped working and screen shut off but started working again(this has happen a few times and it's in for this right now
again)- they are replacing the navigation atena now
Hot air coming from front seats when using the seat coolers
Is this enough to ask for a lemon law? But don't you kind of get screwed lemon law wise??
I think that's it and I've only had it 11 months.
